Seems as if there is a flaw in the design. Not sure what can be done about it. Maybe I will video it for all to see so you can make up your mind if it is worth it to own this or not. You get 25 little paper bags to put your popcorn in once popped. So order some popcorn kits too).Since I didn't have any of the Great Northen kits, I tried to make my own with popcorn I had around the house and some canola oil. That was a disaster. I cleaned it up and ordered some of the GN kits. So I'll review from that perspective. The GN popcorn popper was very easy to assemble and took maybe 15 minutes tops. If I'd had popcorn then, I would've been ready to go. There are three glass sides and a plastic door. There is also a little sheet metal pull-out thing on the door which isn't connected (I guess to make it easier to clean), but it pops out very easily and then you have to wedge it back in.
