The family room carpet was getting dirtier and dirtier--I was even resorting to using one of those sticky, rolly things to get up dirt because I was so embarassed when friends would bring their kids over and they'd get dog hair on them. The Sebo vacuum picks up the kid mess and the dog hair. I really like the way the body swivels too. It really helps with cleaning corners and hard to get to places. I wish I had had this vacuum when my carpets were new!
